At checkout, shoppers can add Swipe protection to their order. If something goes wrong during shipping, customers can quickly file a claim and receive a fast resolution—usually a refund or replacement within 24–48 hours. Merchants benefit from happier customers, fewer support tickets, and additional income from each protection plan sold.

Swipe is currently available to Shopify merchants and their customers in the United States, with expansion to additional countries coming soon.

No, there are no upfront costs for merchants. Swipe operates on a revenue-share model, so you earn a portion of every protection plan sold. For shoppers, the protection is optional and clearly shown at checkout as a small added cost.

If you return your order for a refund, the cost of Swipe protection isn’t refundable. That’s because the protection covers your package from the moment it leaves the store until it safely arrives.

Once your order has been placed, Swipe protection can’t be removed or canceled. The coverage starts immediately to ensure your package is protected from the moment it ships.
