Customers access tracking through the Thank You page after checkout. There is a button prompting the customer to track their order, and then takes them to the app store to download the app.
Customers on the free Track Plan will not have access to receive shipping updates via text (paid plans have access to SMS).
Customers access tracking through the Order Confirmation email after checkout. There is a button prompting the customer to track their order, and then takes them to the app store to download the app.
If a customer wants to track on the web, they can access tracking from the order confirmation email.
Once on the tracking page (in the app or on the web), customers can track all of their packages on a visual, interactive map. There is a progress bar of the shipping status of their packages.
Customers can opt in to receive push notifications from the app about shipment status.
PRO
Customers who opt in after checkout on the Thank You page or web tracking receive text notifications of shipping updates every step of the way.
There are 6 shipping notifications: Order confirmation, Shipping, Shipment Delay, In Transit, Out for delivery, and Delivered. Shipping notifications are available in the US only.
SMS is available to all Platforms, excluding merchants with cannabis products.
Customers who do not have the Swipe app automatically receive branded shipping emails.
Customers cannot unsubscribe from shipping notification emails as these are considered transactional emails. However, if customers download the app, they will stop receiving shipping notification emails (other than the initial order confirmation email).
There are 7 shipping notifications: Order confirmation, Shipping, Shipment Delay, Carrier Delay, In Transit, Out for delivery, and Delivered.
If a merchant is on a Paid Swipe Plan, carbon neutral shipping is included on all of their customers orders, not just protected orders.
Customers will see a widget at checkout that their order was carbon neutral. If a customer opts out of Package Protection, their order is still Green if you are on any of the paid Plans.
