Why are there multiple variants listed for Swipe in Shopify?

swipe Package Protection custom code, combined with the listed variants on the product page, allow the price of swipe to change based on the total retail value.

If the variants are deleted/altered, swipe will likely not function natively with the Shopify cart-system.
